DREAMING ABOUT THAT DAY
It was a surreal day, a day like no other, a day when the sun refused to shine, and dusk hugged the earth like a heavy blanket. The earth shook violently. Buildings crumbled. Mountains split and landslides brought their forests, palatial homes and boulders careening down and rushing forward engulfing surrounding towns. In the twilight, an enormous blood moon rose above the horizon, glaring at stragglers on the street. For those with the mark of the beast it was a chilling moment. They instinctively began to run, anywhere, looking for places to hide. Fear gripped their hearts, until their hearts burst within them.
The Faithful—the hunted and despised believers who had refused the mark—looked on in amazement. Lord Jesus, come quickly, they prayed. Suddenly, the sky was ablaze with glory! There sat Jesus on his throne, his hands raised in blessing over all the earth. Angels filled the sky, blowing trumpets, proclaiming, “Worthy! Worthy! Worthy, is the Lamb who was slain to receive honor, and power, and glory! His Kingdom has come in its fulness. The beast and the prophet have been cast into hell, and the devil is taken away to the Abyss. Let all that has breath praise the Lamb who sits upon his throne in the midst of the earth, even in Jerusalem, the City of the Great King!”
