The Plague of Darkness
Friday, June 13, 2025 by Ruth Harbour

Izzy and Marty saw three spirits like slimy green frogs come out of the gross mouths of the unholy trinity—The Beast, his image, and The Prophet. They went to every nation whispering lies to leaders and those with influence.

To some they gave power to duplicate the plagues of Moses saying, “This is what awaits us if we let Jesus and the Jews get by with the plot to rule the world! Nations of the world arise! Let us stop them once and for all time.”

From the Prayer Room in Heaven Izzy could see the entire world laid out on the screen. She viewed Egypt and saw frog-infested homes just like in the days of Moses. In China, she watched as gnats infested homes and businesses alike. In South Africa, locusts destroyed the little bit of greenery that was left right before her eyes.

She saw millions of people starving, their flesh covered in boils, or cowering under the attack of scorpion locusts and gnats. They bitterly raged that the Jews appeared shielded from harm. To make matters worse, the two mysterious prophets in Jerusalem endlessly called down disasters on the belligerent world as they had been doing for over three years! There Izzy saw an angry mob waving placards decrying the destruction they had brought.

“These Jews have to go—the whole lot of them!” His Highness B—the Beast—snarled as he paced back and forth at the World Order for Peace Administration Building in Ramle–the very room where he and The Prophet had called down the flood onto the escaping Jews. The last seven years his nerves had been worn to a frazzle like the oriental rug he had worn bare there. “Why is it that this Jesus moves about with impunity, together with no small crowd of followers? He is a fake! An imposter! What are you going to do to deal with this treason?” He reeled around and placed his strong hands on The Prophet’s shoulders, glaring into his eyes with his own fiery red ones.

The Prophet arose from his perch where he had been meditating. “We have summoned the armies of the world to face off with the rabble. They gather as we speak at Armageddon. The Prince of Darkness will plunge the forces of the enemy into confusion and make them easy prey. You have nothing to dread.”

“O God,” Izzy prayed, “Send the Beast and his regime confusion and darkness instead!”

Marty prayed alongside her. “Yes, thick darkness to immobilize them and derail their evil plans, in Jesus’s name!”

Suddenly a thick darkness descended from the ceiling like the black ink of a squid in water. His Highness B saw it coming and grabbed his partner’s arm just before being engulfed in the dark shroud. It covered the entire compound in Ramle.

Screams erupted on every side.

“I can’t see! Oh, God! What’s happening?” Mr. B screeched.

“My hand, I can’t even see it right in front of my face!” Even The Prophet was screaming.

“The pain. Ahh, it hurts. Help me! Will somebody help me?” Darkness and pain immobilized the Beast. “Do something!” he implored.

But The Prophet’s efforts brought no relief.
